Loving Yes to Blueberries Cleansing Facial Towelettes

Loving Yes to Blueberries Cleansing Facial Towelettes

I'm brand new to using towelettes as a means to cleanse, but I'm glad I tried these! I plan on keeping them in my car~:) They are phenomenal because they do NOT cause dryness after cleansing and do a great job of wiping off makeup. I think the appropriate ways to use these are if you are say, on your way to the gym after work and are wearing makeup and want your skin to breathe during a work out, you want to freshen up without being able to wash your face, or you are too tired at night to wash your face. They are also amazing for traveling. There are no parabens in these and the ingredients are certified organic with no synthetic fragrances. These wipes also contain apple and lemon peel to help brighten complexion. I'm so glad I picked these up and they were only 7.99$ at my local wegmans. You can find them here!

Pink Frosted Animal Crackers in a Lip Shine

Pink Frosted Animal Crackers in a Lip Shine

Philosophy really gets it when it comes to lip gloss flavors. This is a new flavor, an upgrade from the animal cracker flavor they recently came out with. I literally was obsesssssed with pink frosted animal crackers when I was young, even though I wasn't allowed to eat them.(My parents never let me eat anything with sugar, milk, soda& white flour growing up, which I am thanking them for now, but at the time, any chance I got I'd sneak something sweet and these were my fav!). The minute I opened the tube I was brought back to my childhood and all the times I'd sneak these cookies in Sunday School at church ...lol. This lip gloss has a nice mauve tint to it that would likely be flattering on any skin tone. YUM! okay now I'm hungry for some! :)They even carry a shampoo/shower gel in this flavor. You can find this lip shine here for 10$.

A New Favorite Organic Skin Care Line...One Love Organics :)

A New Favorite Organic Skin Care Line...
One Love Organics :)

I literally am in love with One Love Organics at the moment. My all time favorite is the One Love Organics Skin Savior Waterless Beauty Balm. This stuff is magical. I am currently using this is a moisturizer and have used it for a few weeks now. It contains coconut oil, mango butter, chia seed extract and vitamin E, which are all so good for your skin and do not clog pores. I love it as a base for my makeup. No chemicals or synthetic preservatives.A couple neat things about this balm is that it kind of goes on like a vaseline but sinks into skin nicely leaving behind a really nice glow, not overly shiny. You can also mix mineral powder with it to make a customized foundation to your preference of thickness, which I think is such a great idea. Lastly, you can cleanse with the balm as well! (Great for traveling because it does it all, even removes tough to remove mascara and eyeliner). The cleanser is nice because it is a gel cleanser, which was a nice switch from my cream cleanser I used during winter months(Eminence coconut cream cleanser). I find that it removes makeup really nicely without leaving skin tight and dry..(if this happens and your skin becomes oily, then your cleanser is NOT right for your skin and will start to break you out, FYI). I always try to use things that make my skin feel the same before washing and after washing, so as not to disrupt the lipid barrier on the surface of the skin. The "Brand New Day" scrub and masque is great because you can mix it with the foaming cleanser every morning (it's a powder with small grains in it that aren't too abrasive such as rice powder and baking soda) to exfoliate. The packaging is really cute too! I recommend starting out with the travel kit so you can try everything to see if you like it before splurging bc they are a little pricey. The travel kit can be foundhere for 48$.

Healthiest Way to Deal with a Chocolate Craving

Healthiest Way to Deal with a Chocolate Craving

Ahhhhhh!!...I'm so excited to share this with you guys. I would never have thought that this recipe my sister shared with me was going to be so amazing until I had a massive chocolate craving and decided to try it. This chocolate pudding has no sugar! and...is made of basically banana, avacado, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, medjool dates, sea salt, almond milk and ice cubes. (with shaved chocolate on top and some coconut..if you want:) ...This is literally to DIE for and you won't have to feel guilty eating something like this. A few reasons why this is good for you: bananas contain vitamin C and potassium, and avocados are full of omega 3 fatty acids, all great for the skin and hair...You can go to this blog herefor the full recipe. This woman is a genius!

It's About Time....

It's About Time....

Bobbibrown.com

Finally, a company has designed quality brushes in a small travel size. I have yet to find tiny brushes like this that actually get the job done. These are Bobbi's full quality brushes, with just a tiny handle. A little pricey for only 4, they will set you back 55$. Depending on how often you touch up your makeup during the day, these really could benefit you by being REALLY small so you can fit them into any type of purse easily!

Neon nails!

Neon nails!

I found these Cynthia Rowley nail polishes at my local Marshalls. I've been getting complements on my nails ever since! They are super neon and go on in a matte finish, but once you put a top coat on them they turn really nice and shiny. Love them for the summer!

Loreal Power Volume Collagen 24 Hour Mascara

Loreal Power Volume Collagen 24 Hour Mascara

As of late I've been using Full N' Soft by Maybelline for my every day mascara, which has turned into my favorite mascara ever. I wanted to try something really black for going out that wasn't too expensive, so I picked up the Loreal 24 hr. Power Volume Collagen Mascara in Blackest Black. This really delivers on color and volume, that's for sure. It didn't get too spidery on me either, which is nice because alot of the volume mascaras do that. The finish is semi-hard, a little bit harder than I normally like but at least it does last all day long. I don't know who wears their mascara for 24 hours, def. not me!, so that marketing aspect of it is not important to me. It does last all day with no smudging, so that's good at least. The great thing about this mascara is just a little bit of warm water softens it enough to wash it off really easily. I felt like it brought the drama I was looking for in terms of being super black without being too expensive, so I'll probably use it until it's all used up.:) You can find this at your local drug store or www.target.com. :)

MAC Pro 205 Mascara Fan Brush....No More Clumps Ever...

MAC Pro 205 Mascara Fan Brush....No More Clumps Ever...

(one coat of mascara)

(2 coats of mascara)

I bought the MAC PRO 205 Mascara Fan Brush off of ebay a few years ago and recently have been putting it to use again. After trying so many new mascaras, I kind of forgot about this brush. This is a brush that will allow you to get a VERY natural mascara look. You can literally turn any kind of mascara into a soft and clump free mascara just by using this brush. All you have to do is brush it along the spool of the mascara wand to pick up some of the formula and gently starting at the base of your eyelashes wiggle it upwards. I love the natural effect it gives. You definitely don't want to use something like this if you are looking for dramatic eyelashes...although maybe it would be a good option if you added false eyelashes. I bought this brush for 19$ but it looks like it has gone up based on the few I found through ebay. Here is a link for a few ebay sellers that have it at 30$.

Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer

Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer

I had to try the new Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer at Sephora recently and here are the results. This is a 100% full coverage concealer. So for those who wear tinted moisturizer daily, I would say this is not for you. This concealer is super thick, creamy and opaque. That's why I felt like I had a hard time finding a good color match. The medium is what is pictured on me. As you can see, it totally deletes any hint of undereye circles. I put eye cream on underneath it so that it would spread easier, that is how thick it is! But I felt that the medium was a TINY bit too light, given that it is summer and I will probably be a bit more tan. I think if I had the medium and the tan, I could mix the colors together, and it would be perfect. I think Tarte needs to make a color in between the medium and the tan though, because there is a quite a range between the two. Needless to say, this is a phenomenal coverage all natural concealer that utilizes Maracuja oil to soften lines and moisturize skin while concealing. You can find it here for 24$. It also will cover blemishes, discoloration, redness, etc...
